Tom and Cate will works with you to ensure that all of your plans come together for the perfect wedding. Take on as much or as little of the organisation as you like while staying in control of every detail and decision.

Wedding Ceremony Area

Our wedding ceremony area has been milled onsite from Australian Cyprus pine and is nestled around an ancient peppercorn tree from the original estate with stunning panoramic views of the Grampians Mountain Ranges.
 

Arbour

The wedding arbour is 2.4m x 2.4m and was carefully situated on the estate to maximise the backdrop views of the mountains. The off-white design of the Arbour was carefully matched to accentuate the white of wedding dresses and shirts so that you pop in the photos.

Arbour Guest Seating

There are 8 half log seats in place which can seat 48 comfortably. Additional seating can be easily arranged for weddings of up to any size.

Arbour Decking Aisle

Designed in keeping with the Arbour and Ceremony Reception Area, it provides a hard aisle for you to make your way comfortably and clean to the ceremony.

Arbour Ceremony Reception Area

The two hexagonal offset decks were inspired by the honeycomb that our bees produce on the estate. Nestled in the shade of the old peppercorn tree which belonged to the settlers on the old estate, it make the perfect location for nibbles and drinks either before or after the ceremony (or both)! It also has festoon lighting for evening events and 240v power for music, if required.

Wedding Reception Venue

The Wedding Venue is a rustic barn style venue on the outside but fully decorated inside for a tasteful modern atmosphere. 
 

Capacity

The reception venue can seat up to 110 inside the room, but additional seating can be provided on the decking area just through the glass doorways which can work well for kids tables so they can relax without interrupting the speeches.

Decking Area

There is a large decking area attached to the Reception Venue which is an ideal place for pre-dinner drinks and nibbles and during the wedding reception is a great place to step outside away from the music and energy to relax and take 5.

Wood Burning Heater

A cozy wood burning heater can add a real warmth to a winter wedding and is a great place to relax at the end of the night to reflect on the highlights of the day.

Furniture and Table Settings

We can provide 10 x round function tables which seat up to 10 guests and long tables for the wedding party. Tables, Chairs, Seat Covers, Crockery, Cutlery and Glassware is all available for hire.

Central Lights and power options

The central lights are dimmable and removable to tailor your lighting style to your needs. Choose any style of chandelier/lighting to your taste. There are also 5 double power sockets in the ceiling line, to enable festoon, fairy lighting or any other lighting option that you might prefer.

DJ/Band Staging Corner

The DJ/Band staging corner has ample power sockets, back lighting and spot lighting to showcase your musicians for the after dinner party.  This can also be a great place for speeches if required.

Woodlands Bridal Cottage

The Bridal Cottage is a recently redecorated eco friendly 2 bedroom cottage with a cozy wood burning heater and self contained kitchen and bathroom.

Location

The cottage is less than a kilometre from the ceremony/reception area ensuring that you have complete seclusion and intimacy away from your guests but only a short step away from the party and the fun. Dip in and out of the excitement on your own terms and when it suits you - after all, it is your day!

Wood Burning Heater

A cozy wood burning heater adds a romantic atmosphere to the cottage, particularly in the cooler months.

Decking and Views

The cottage has a large intimate decking area with more great views of the mountains.

Guest Accommodation

The recently redecorated on-site guest accommodation can sleep up to 32 guests.
 

8 x Family Bedrooms

We have 8 large family bedrooms on site which are perfect for up to 32 guests. All rooms are made up with professional hotel quality linen and towels. Each room has a Queen bed, a Single bed and a pull out bed for up to 4 people per room. This is included as part of the venue hire.

Camping & Caravans

Many guests like to take advantage of our ability to offer camping and caravan locations for additional guest accommodation so that they can stay on site, close to the party and to use the facilities. This is booked additionally.

Shearers' Quarters

Only 19 minutes away we can arrange for an additional 8 bedrooms of accommodation to be made available which is set up as follows: Master room (Queen and double sofa), 2 x cozy queen rooms, 5 x twin singles sleeping up to a total of 18. This is booked additionally and dependant on availability. 

Commercial Kitchen and Breakfast Room

The commercial kitchen is set up for the caterer to operate from and the breakfast room is ideal for serving breakfast and can seat about 30.
 

Breakfast Room

The breakfast room is a modern, light room perfect for serving a rolling, relaxed breakfast each morning. It has seating for about 30 at any one time, a TV for catching up on the news and a wood burning heater for the cooler months.

Commercial Kitchen

The commercial kitchen is ideal for your chosen caterer to set up and work out of. This includes: a walk-in cool room, Gas griddle, commercial gas oven, commercial gas 5 ring burners, commercial 5 x 1/1 tray electric oven, chest freezer and microwave, 2 deep bowl dish basins.

Bonfire and BBQ area

Our Bonfire and BBQ area is the perfect chill-out area for relaxing the day after the wedding or the evening before. Low stress and easy to deliver! 
 

BBQ area

Our covered 32 amp commercial BBQ makes short work of catering for large numbers outside in the fresh air. The bench area is also perfect for serving salads, sauces and drinks for convenience. 

Bonfire

The large bonfire is great for chilling out around into the evenings. Located close to the BBQ, it is perfect to use in combination for a relaxing evening. There is also festoon lighting which bathes the bonfire and seating area in a gentle light and a table to serve drinks/nibbles from.

 *due to our estate being surrounded by the Grampians National Park, we do have the occasional fire restrictions in the height of summer meaning that we cannot use the bonfire. However the electric BBQ is still fine.
